Under
the direction of their father, both Jerry and Sheldon worked
their way up through the ranks of the company learning every
aspect of the mechanical construction business. As teenagers,
they sorted fittings in the warehouse and delivered material
to job sites. After graduating from the University of Maryland
with engineering degrees, each continued to progress through
the ranks becoming project managers and eventually moving
into their current positions as leaders of the company. Jerry's
expertise encompasses all facets of mechanical contracting
and service, particularly estimating, pre-construction services,
design-build, and fabrication. Sheldon's expertise is in project
management and company operations, along with business development.
Sheldon also holds Master Plumber and HVAC Licenses.
Under
Jerry's leadership and Sheldon's vision, the company has grown
thirty fold to more than $60M in annual revenues. Dividing
company responsibilities, Jerry manages the Estimating, Service,
and Design-Build Departments, as well as strategic planning
and quality assurance. Sheldon manages the Accounting, Prefabrication and
Construction Departments. Jerry and Sheldon lead a talented
team of professionals who have expanded the company's capability
to handle increasingly complex projects throughout the Washington,
DC metropolitan area. Together they compliment each other
and focus on developing and maintaining relationships with
clients, subcontractors, vendors, and employees.
Continuing
the family philosophy, Jerry and Sheldon promote a nurturing
environment for the employees, creating career paths for individual
success and teamwork ensuring continued client satisfaction
and long-term relationships. Jerry and Sheldon strongly believe
in supporting the community and encourage employee involvement
in worthwhile causes. Their industry outreach program educates
children, teachers, counselors, and parents about construction
career opportunities.
