Outreach
A principal
tenet of this family business is "giving back to the community
and construction industry." All Shapiro & Duncan employees
are members of the "family" and are encouraged and supported
in all facets of community and industry outreach.
Some of
our community outreach projects include:
- Retail Skills Center – Montgomery County Workforce Development
- American
Cancer Society, Race for the Cure;
- Children's
Inn at NIH;
- Christmas
in April;

We feel
very strongly about career-based education and understand
the need to provide students with knowledge of construction
career paths that could be open to them. We are involved and
committed to mentoring students and providing internships
in construction.
