Design-Build
We provide sole-source HVAC and plumbing system design-build service for both new and retrofit construction projects. Our in-house design-build engineers are licensed and registered in Maryland, DC and Virginia. This method of project delivery can reduce costs and accelerate project completion for Owners and General Contractors.

Professional Project Management
Shapiro & Duncan's team of professional project managers coordinate all aspects of a project to ensure hassle free job performance and on-time delivery. Using Prolog Project Management and Primavera Scheduling, our project management team schedules and tracks the progress of all trades, equipment delivery dates, and phases of construction for each job. Coordinated CAD drawings are prepared to aid in planning, fabrication, and installation resolving potential design problems before construction begins, saving time and money. Using these tools helps avoid design and construction delays.

Preconstruction Services
In the project-planning phase, we provide our clients with detailed cost projections to prepare comprehensive budgets to allow informed decision-making during the design stage and avoid costly changes during construction.

We save clients time and money by applying value engineering at the design stage, which provides value added to the project. Using computer automation, we produce extremely accurate quantity takeoffs that automatically apply current cost data yielding the most competitive price. Our experience and lifetime relationships with all of the major equipment manufacturers provide value in defining project equipment requirements.
